Transport Layer Security
DICOM Transport Layer Security (DICOM TLS) is derived from SSL 3.0 and is largely compatible with it.
A pair of VB6 samples (SCU and SCP) using the com version of DicomObjects, together with CAPICOM and a sample certificate can be downloaded here
