DicomAssociation is the name used in the .NET_Version for the object which was called DicomConnection in the COM_Version. it is however slightly different as it can only represent a single DICOM Association unlike the DicomConnection which could, when being ised in a C-MOVE SCP represent both the incoming and outgoing associations.
